The Earth Body series takes reference from the landscape. I am particularly drawn to the shapes and contours of the Cumbrian Lake District, working with a sense of the earth as a living being held inside the rock. These pieces are all slab-formed, some left white, the others are sagger-fired using range of reducing agents.
